Dishes 03:59
Folding back in a lawn chair with your dramatic mother's friends Where do we begin? She never rests We take a dip in the pool Face lift, impressed by the lunch shes made you for school ool ool school ool ool Picking daisys, sun spitting water We collect her up in arms with the daughter, and direct her to walk into the mirror In this backwards land she'll experience some leisure doo da doo Comeback! We cant do anything for ourselves Survivals slim. Dishes in the sink Water flowing over, kitchins goin' under

Night Club 03:56
Yeah we can get up alright Have just one more drink with me Start another dance party I don't wanna go to sleep tonight If you've got the groove inside your shoe then get on the floor and do what we do If you've got the groove you better move Going to my house always on time They're so on time
3.
I will be glad for a letter in the mail Cause without you, my darling, my heart is in jail Wont you please rescue me and drive me wild? I will be glad Its been two lonely months and I can't seem to recall your face but the funny thing baby, is no one can take your place The rain falls down, whenever your in town Watch it fall on me
4.
Love 03:46
Love, want your love Baby, baby need your love baby our loves dying I don't know why I love you Baby our loves dying I'm stuck in the corner Trying to find my way out I'm jumping and freezing Shattered to the ground You pick up the pieces, bring me back to life I stare in your eyes, into your pupils of white Ooooh in the deep dark sea I'm drowning for your love In the cold dark sea, I'm drowning for your love Baby, our loves dying I don't know why I love you Baby, our loves dying I still love YOU
5.
Out Again 03:42
Out again Going out again. Not so soon What about your meal? Don't worry about me, I'll get it on the road Just one more thing I'm curious to know what you do and where you go Thanks for your concern, but I must go I've got plans, and yes, they're very personal I will wake you when I'm home Then its out again Out again But not so soon What about your meal, boy? Don't worry about me. I'll get it on the road Just one more thing, I know what your doing, and where you always go Imaginary plans have got to go You're just running out both ends and getting stoned Let me see your crystal ball Let me see your crystal ball You think I need you You're not an umbrella in a rainstorm and you think I need you

about

This is AKUDAMA's first EP release. This contains an assortment of 6 songs from our "early" career— most of which were written and recorded in the barn pictured on the album art.
*Tracks 1, 3 and 4 (Dishes, I Will Be Glad, and Seabreeze Social) were written and recorded during our time spent at Martha's barn in Lunenburg, MA in the summer of 2006.
**Track 4 (Love) was written during this time as well, but was reworked and rerecorded in Brooklyn in 2007.
***Track 5 (Out Again) was written and recorded back in 2005, and finally saw the light of day on this EP in 2007.
****Track 2 (Night Club) was first released on our 2005 debut full-length Flying Over Morning.

about

AKUDAMA Brooklyn, New York

One day, a guava made love to a banana, and an avocado was born. Upon the avocado's first attempt at rolling, it was squashed. With the cracking of its pit came the most magnificent sound, so fiercely exasperating that it caused the banana to kill the guava, make a boat out of it, and sail to America to start a rock band called Acucumba... which sounds strikingly similar to "AKUDAMA". ... more
